2017 Nissan Altima will be released with new design, sportier look and improved performance. This car will probably be developed and produced on same platform as Sentra model. This means that those two cars could share lots of features. 2017 Nissan Altima exterior design will not get any big changes. It could have redesigned and refreshed headlights, bumpers and maybe wheels. Old platform was used in production, so we expect for dimensions to remain same. Interior design will get Nissan connect infotainment system, more space in the cabin and redesigned dashboard.

2017 Nissan Altima will be powered by engines taken from current Altima model. We have 2.5 litre 4-cylinder engine which is capable to deliver 182 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. Then there will be more powerful 3.5 litre V6 producing 270 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. Speaking of 2017 Nissan Altima fuel economy, Nissan has done really great job in that segment. It will do 38 mpg on the highway, which is amazing result. This way it have beaten main rivals like Toyota Camry, which can do 35 mpg and Honda Accord doing 36 mpg on the open road.

2017 Nissan Altima release date has not been officially announced, but we assume its release date could take place at the end of 2016 or beginning of 2017. 2017 Nissan Altima price will probably remain in same range as previous model.
